At the beginning of September, the dumping situation from Lvov was significantly complicated. The Mayor of Andrei Sadowski stated that in a Facebook address.
"After the closure of the landfill on the "Grandca," we were forced to take trash to other cities and regions of Ukraine. However, such a solution was possible only as a temporary measure. First of all, it's a budget bill for the city. Secondly, we faced organized opposition, both by political forces and by public authorities, which he said.
According to Sadovhogo, on 15 September, the Lvova Mountains approved a draft treaty between the Livov and the Malekhov villagers.
"This is our offer to the Thunder of Malechov, which solves two problems at the same time, the rehabilitation and closing of the polygon, which is critical to Malechov, and the removal of solid domestic waste from Lvov, which is critical to Lvov," by the mayor.
According to him, the proposal was that the Malekov would give Lvov access to his site for his rehabilitation project. Lions have been implementing this project for four years, investing their own funds, and later the European Investment Bank. The draft agreement provided for serious penalties if the Lions did not comply with the terms of the contract. Also in Lvova, serious grants were pledged to Malechov for the construction of schools, outpatients, kindergarten and repair of roads.
"Only this year the Lions will invest and invest more than 60 million Hrvs in Malechov. The ball on the field of Malechov's thunder, underlined the Sadov.
He added that the continued closure of the site would have severe consequences for all parties.
"We'll continue to have to find alternative landfills. But at least they will be difficult for the Malechov thunder, because the environmental situation, with the rebuilding blocked, will only deteriorate, and the money we are willing to invest in the village infrastructure, we will have to continue to be diverted to the transport of debris to remote polygons, has been noted by Sadov.
