In the Bogodukov district of Kharkov province, a solid household waste management unit (CDM) has been launched and the press service of the Kharkov Regional Public Administration has been briefed. The BTB Management Unit in Bogodouhova became the first in Ukraine to work on such technology, is noted in the communication.

Polygon has equipment to sort and recycle debris. All organic residues are combined with special bacteria. As a result, some time later, the waste will become fertilizers. The polygon is equipped with an autonomous heating system operating on waste.

In general, for a year, the polygon will be able to receive and process 65 to 70,000 cubic metres of TBT.

"He will be the prototype of 11 compounds that will be located in the Harkov region in accordance with our environmental strategy. They, according to the experts, will fully provide the area with modern methods of collecting, recycling and processing TBT, quoting the press service, Igor Rainin, head of the Harkov OGA.

Previously, it was reported that the facility was designed to receive 50,000 cubic metres of waste per year, and landfills for 70 years. This year, it was planned to build a solid household waste disposal facility near the town of Lubotin, to complete design in the Izum district. Such complexes are also being designed in the Volchansk, Pervomai, Krasnograd and Lozov districts.
