Higher Education in Kenya

In different countries, the sphere of education develops differently. The most developed country in Africa is Kenya. Primary and higher education as well as  best bachelor programmes in Kenya are at a fairly high level.

Types of universities in Kenya

Today, there are about thirty universities in Kenya. Seven of them are public, the rest are private. Private universities are divided into:

  •  accredited by the Higher Education Commission
  •  founded before the Higher Education Commission
  •  accredited on a temporary basis

When choosing a best university in Kenya, it is necessary to take into account what category the university belongs to. Universities of the first category are the most prestigious, however, the admission process is more complicated. The level of education in such universities is usually high.
