Business in garbage, or the history of the success of the project Got Junk.
Brian Scudamor started a garbage business, that's the solution. He's just offered cleaning and garbage disposal services than he didn't do the city administration. The original investments were $700. The current annual turnover of the company is $100 million.
Professor of Economics and Innovation of the Lomonosov MG, Michael Homić:
The idea of organizing this business was easy. Every man has a problem with deadly garbage. As it turns out, the garbage that the pond has on our streets is annoying some people, and for others, it is the source of the largest money.
We just need to figure out what to do to make people feel good, and you're profitable. World practice is that garbage business is a profitable business, and an interesting idea can bring a million. It's a matter of satisfying the needs of citizens, and success is guaranteed. There's even the smart ones who make the gift collections of garbage.
The American Air and Waste Management Association provides data that only US$ 1,4 billion tons of waste are produced, and US$ 40 billion is spent annually on collection, transportation, storage and recycling.
Bryan Scudamor noticed the problem with the trash when he couldn't find a job in 1989. He saw a truck picking up trash at McDonalds. It was at that moment that he had the idea of organizing his own business, and it wasn't for nothing, because soon he became the richest man.
Last year, Brian dropped out of college and bought a $700-dollar truck on which he wrote "We'll destroy your trash for a second." Business grew rapidly, and one year later Brian hired students from his college. They worked as garbage trucks. Initially, the company focused on the provision of quality services: staff helped clients collect trash from the house, cleaned it up, then left.
